Give a girl a camera and this is what happens!

Just to amuse and delight you guys. I cracked open the tripod that has been sitting in the box for years unopened. I have learned what the settings mean on my camera after owning it for years and years. So today I played outside in the sun then inside by the window. I am posting some unedited pics to show you my misadventures in photography. I got a couple of good ones I can edit and use. But this was more for fun. And fun it was, not just for me but for one of our cats who thought it was hilarious to make his way into every single shot. So somewhere during the adventure you will get to meet Spike, the shy one. Apparently not today, he's discovered his beauty and his need to be noticed. Lol!

Spike actually hates Castiel but today he was mugging for the camera. They aren't even allowed on the table.  Well behaved don't ya think. Thank goodness we never eat at the table.

"Yes Mom, we heard you. We're not allowed on the table! "

Kitchen window, my lunch!

Not bad.

Messy eater, what can I say, it's fajitas, lol!

If this wasn't fuzzy I would love this one.

Playing with outside light on the patio. Gift from a dear friend.

I like this shot. Not sure why.

Very pretty.

This one I really like. It's later in the day and the light is behind me.

Back inside by the big front window. Should have done this hours earlier. It was too late for this.

Playing with settings. Went too far.

Be cuter with more light.

I like this one. The muffins match the table. Lol!

Ignore the cord behind. I like the composition of this.

Too much light?

Love this!

And this!

My fave but too much light.

You can see Spike's paws coming up.

And there he is.

"Hm, what's Mom doing?"

"I'm going to pretend I am looking outside."

"Then jump up right next to the food."

"Then lay down next to the food."

"Then smell it and see if it's worth stealing. Nope just veggies."

Apparently he doesn't like veggies. Lol. This is cool, The food sites would hate it but I like the shadows.

Okay so hope you enjoyed this peek into my day and why I still have not showered today and it's almost dinner time. I swear it's ocd at it's finest. I cannot stop playing until I figure it out. Can't help myself. It's going to be a long week. This adventure required moving a huge couch, loveseat, and table, a vent cover and some dust bunnies. I really need to set up a studio space in a room out of the way or something. This was a ton of effort for photos.

On a side note my brother has decided to visit. He gets in tomorrow. So I am hoping he brings his fancy camera so I can play around with it and learn how badly I need a new camera. Now if some money would just fall from the sky I'd be all set.

Hope you are having a fabulous day. It's a holiday here in Canuck land so I am just chilling.

Toodles and smoochies. xx
