Lunatic Loves These Links

Hi folks. Okay so strap yourself in, buckle those seat belts and all hands inside the ride at all times. I have some posts I am behind on so you're going to get 5 over the course of the weekend. But I need to catch up so I can move forward with Christmas posts soon. Yup, you heard it. Christmas is coming up. Did you not notice. Alrighty roo folks, so again. Do not try to lift the bar before the ride is over.

Did I ever tell you I worked at Boblo Island when I was a teeny bopper. It used to be an amusement park. I was one of those lucky kids who worked summers there. We took a boat over to the island every day. Then I got to spend my days working in a restaurant I can not remember the name of. But we had to wear dutch type outfits that made us all look like barmaids. Yup, classy I know. The upside was getting to hang out after shifts and before shifts. We would go over before the patrons and "test the rides". Can you imagine? I mean who has young kids test the rides young kids are operating. I look back now and think "holy hell". Man were we stupid. Yet we had so much fun every day. I remember my cousin leaving me on a ride that spun upside down for 5 turns and the person I was with looking pretty green while I hooted and hollered "one more time, one more time". Once a lunatic, always a lunatic.

Anyhow moving on. Google Boblo Island later.

  2. I owe a lot to both Adam and Cheryl at Picture-Perfect Meals. Also, Hubby, Dudette and I had the opportunity to share dinner with them once and we became friends in that long evening. They're an incredible couple. Such giving people and they're both so...alive. Very vivacious.

Anyhow, I can't wait to see what twist you did on those mashed potatoes. Have a fantastic weekend.
