Hi folks, little old me again. I know, I know, I just posted the black forest cheesecakes in a jar but I just had to return with this one. Plus there is a bonus for you on this one.
A bonus you ask.
What kind of a bonus Miss Lunatic?
Will there be cake?
Will there be presents?
Are my questions annoying you?
Hey did you guys ever see the movie "Despicable Me"? I love the part where the little girl asks "is this annoying" then makes that face slapping popping noise. It cracks me up every time I watch it. And I do not, I repeat, do not, walk around doing it to the kids all day long and laughing hysterically at myself. Really, I don't. At least not every single day.
Okay that had nothing to do with anything but I just had to share. I freaking love that movie. "It's so fluffy"! Okay, okay, I'll stop now.
Alrighty roo, moving on. So we were talking about pizza. Wait, no, that's not right.
Ah, yes, we were talking about surprises and bonuses and presents. Yah, that's it.
So do you guys like surprises?
And bonuses?
And presents?
Yah, me too!
So guess what?
I decided to hold a "I love my fans giveaway". Sponsored by yours truly. Now before you get all excited, keep in mind, sponsored by me, not like Oprah, or like Ellen. So keep that in mind my lovelies. While I announce this:

Now on to pizza dough. Good luck folks!
SALSARIFIC PIZZA DOUGH: *bread machine*
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
1 tablespoon shortening
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 + 3/4 cups white flour
1 + 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon Watkins salsa seasoning
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
Directions:
Place all ingredients in your bread machine baking pan in order listed.
Place your baking pan into the chamber and lock it in.
Select the "dough/pasta" setting on your machine.
Turn on.
Mine takes about 2 hours.
Remove from baking pan when finished.
Put in a glass bowl or container and cover it.
Let stand for another 30 minutes.
Now it's ready to knead out and make pizza.
*Dough can be kept in fridge for about 3 days. A little tip is it's easier to spread when a bit cold.*
*Dough can also be frozen*
*Yields 2 normal crust pizzas or 3 very thin ones*
Enjoy!
This is modified from my Killer Spicy Pizza Dough!
NOTE- FOLKS THIS IS SPICY, I MEAN SPPPIIIICCCCY! WHEN YOU BITE INTO IT, IT WILL BITE YOU BACK. SO DO NOT MAKE THIS IF YOU ARE A SISSY WHO CAN'T HANDLE THE HEAT!
*the Lunatic will not be held responsible if you ignore the previous warning and end up at the hospital and come home crying like a sissy cuz it was too hot*
*the Lunatic may or may not have cried herself after hers bit her back*
*the Lunatic insists she is not a sissy*
*the Lunatic's doctor can verify this as he specifically told her she was not a sissy when he handed her lollipops*
The pictures are not fabulouso this time. I had technically difficulties with a snapped memory card and ended up with mostly blank files. Such a shame. These shots were not balanced properly but will have to suffice. I like this last one but the previous ones I had the settings wrong. So the color is off. Forgive me. You know you still love me.
Tell your friends about me folks. The more the merrier. And we could all use a little more merry this time of year!
Which reminds me, some big news for you on Tuesday! So be sure to check back on what it is.
I also have a Slow Cooker Sunday post for you. But I shall wait and do that one in the morning so you don't grow weary of me.
Toodles and smoochies. xx

ReplyDeleteI LOVE DESPICABLE ME! My four year old watches it all the time and I can't keep myself from stopping and staring at the screen on my way by and next thing I know I'm hooked in for the rest of it even though I've seen it a million times! Liiiiightbulb! One of my favorite parts is when the horrible orphanage lady introduces the girls to Gru and the tomboy girl with the pink hat is staring at him with her mouth hanging open. Best expression ever! Anyhoo love your blog and love this giveaway! I already have the Healthy Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a day and my fave recipe from that is the Whole Wheat and Olive Oil which can be modified to make just about anything! I was just in Barnes and Noble yesterday and saw that they just came out with a Pizza Dough and Flatbread in Five Minutes a Day and I'll be adding that to my wishlist too! Going to do all the following and subsequent annoying comments for the draw next! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteKim--This is a wonderful giveaway, I hope I am lucky enough to be the winner.
ReplyDeleteAs for my favorite type of bread, that is difficult because I LOVE bread. I suppose I would have to say a warm loaf of French bread (crusty on the outside soft on the inside).
I follow your blog...love me some Lunatic.
ReplyDeleteI follow your other blog :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, even though I don't really eat bread any more, count me in. Because my family does and they eat a LOT of it! So fave bread has always been multigrain. Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this looks amazingggg!!! You know I am following you everywhere..but let's start with twitter!:))
ReplyDeleteI like you on Facebook!
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog of course!:))
ReplyDeleteOK, now I feel the need to try this dough just to prove I can handle it--I'll take that challenge!
ReplyDeleteHey guys, sorry behind on replying. Grab a snack, this could take awhile but here goes:
ReplyDelete@Flex Your Food- Love both of those but partial to ciabatta. Although I never pronounce it properly!
@Cindy- Oh...crusty italian bread! Love it. I am now officially craving that. This is super hot. It's a guys dough, but I eat like a dude so it's to be expected. Lol!
@fitinthemidwest- I am not a huge olive fan but we bought some olive bread at a market and it was slamming good!
@Boi Polloi- Lol, my daughter is a sissy with spice too. I love the look of multigrain bread. I can't eat most though. Have trouble with a lot of wheat products and some seeds. It's so pretty though.
@dena- Challah is beautiful. I have never made it but aim to this winter.
@Tina- Lol, it happens. I have done that with people where I think I am and I'm not. And thank you!
@Amy- Love italian. I know right, these giveaways are a workout!
@Torviewtoronto- Thanks so much.
@Lizzy- *falls down laughing* Ya, I think people might start getting all suspicious if you won two of mine in a row. Lol!
@Christine- Pizza is the bomb!
@Eliotseats- Thanks and thanks. It just looks so cute to write in it. I did hearts in my last pizza post. So adorable and fun!
@Happy When Not Hungry- Oh brioche is on my list of things to try this winter. I've never made it.
@OvenDelights- Oh wow, that sounds flipping amazing. Love pizza. Could eat it every day and practically do!
@Stephanie- Okay I have a confession, I've never eaten focaccia. I must try it. They even sell it as Costco now!
@Ping- I am not a stickler for rules. As long as you have a post box in the states it's all good. I swear I keep telling hubs we need an American address so I can enter contests. Us Canadians get screwed contest wise. Rarely get to enter.
@Ann- Mini me loves whole wheat too. I can't eat whole wheat but I wish I could. Nothing like brown bread to make me happy. Unfortunately tummy does not agree. Lol!
@Jeff- That is so sweet. Love a guy who loves Grandma's cooking. I can't wait to get this book and start playing. I waited for my copy till I ended the giveaway so I'm chomping at the bit to do the draw. Lol!
@momdecuisine- I have never made pretzel dough. I have to try. I see such cool stuff made with it these days.
@Dionne- I love spice. I don't have many bread recipes that don't use my breadmaker so I am excited to get my own copy of this book.
@Rachel- Thanks. Oh you are talking my language girl. I love when bread has that perfect crunch on the outside but you rip in and it's soft as can be. I don't eat bread like a normal person. I pull it apart bit by bit. Not sure why. Again, goes back to me eating like a dude I think. Lol!
@Carolyn- I love multigrain but it bugs my tummy. So I rarely eat that. Funny how my ibs reacts to everything healthy. Makes losing weight a real challenge. I love that you entered but can't eat the stuff. You are my kind of lady. Family first. Love it!!!
@Sandra- Stalk me any time my dear. Lol!
@Cucina- Lol, okay you're on. Report back whether your a she-woman or a sissy. Enquiring minds wanna know. Or my enquiring mind anyway. Lol!
Whew, got everyone! Thanks for entering. Tell your friends!!!
If it's bread, I love it, ha. If I have to choose a current bread, it'd be a cinnamon desserty bread of some sort. Or pizza dough.
ReplyDeleteI already follow this blog. :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite bread that I make is Anadama Bread got it from Brown Eyed Baker. It has cornmeal and molassas in it and I usually add walnut and sunflower seeds to it.
ReplyDelete
