Lunatic Loves These Links - August 12

Hello lovely readers. I hope everyone has enjoyed their week. I'm sure everyone is so happy the weekend is here. Time to sit back, relax and enjoy some down time. Love weekends. I mean who doesn't. Well I suppose people who work on the weekend hate weekends. Okay so boo for those who work on the weekend, your bosses should give you huge bonuses. You can quote me on that. Tell them Kim said to give you a raise and a bonus immediately. You deserve it.

So it's been a long, wild week. Lots has been going on and I am enjoying life to the fullest. This week brought my first time on foodbuzz's top 9 and let me tell you I just about woke up the whole country hooting and hollering. I was so floored. I have a really crappy camera so to get that pic on there was a real treat and meant so much to me that you all took the time to vote for me. I love you all. You....and you....and even you....and you over in the corner, the quiet one, you too. I adore you all. I also experimented with some new recipes. I made some pretty cool stuff. Here's a quick recap of  my week.

I stole my brother's camera and took some pics. You can see it HERE!

I made these beauties and they were on foodbuzz's top 9. So cool! You can find the recipe HERE!

I made strawberry brownie ice cream and posted a ton of ice cream links from fellow bloggers in my weekly series "ICE CREAM SUNDAYS". You can see it HERE!

Mini-me made flat bread pizza with me. Was so much fun. You can find the recipe HERE!

I made blueberry muffins and got mildly annoyed with Miss Paula Deen. You can see that HERE!

I experimented and came up with these beauties. They are red currant and pistachio muffin. You can see them HERE!

I made The Shiksa's Ima Burgers and was over the moon for these things. So much yummy goodness on this burger. I was introduced to sriracha sauce for the first time and will never look back. It rocks. So does Tori at The Shiksa in the Kitchen! You can see my version of these HERE! You can see The Shika's original Ima Burgers HERE!

I made Sriracha Eggplant Fries. Such a cool but spicy recipe. Love this. Woot woot for experimenting. You can check them out HERE!

I made marble pistachio bark and ate almost all of it myself. This stuff is easy and quick. This stuff rocks! You can find the recipe HERE!

So that's what I've been up to. I usually post this on thursdays but I  may rethink that and either do fridays or mondays. Not sure yet. But I will keep doing this every week. And now on to you lovely folks. I have bookmarked some incredible stuff this week. First I shall show the links of my fave foodie blogs. I am reading these ones religiously, Try never to miss a post. So check them out.

The Shiksa in the Kitchen - Tori is amazing. You must stop by and check her out.I love the recipes and her writing style.

The Steamy Kitchen - Jaden is a doll and so talented. I rush right over every time she posts something new.

More Than A Mount Full - Chef Dennis is a top notch chef and a stand up guy. He is helpful and shares knowledge and information. It's refreshing to meet someone so open and willing to share information.

Cooking Healthy For Me - Ann is an amazing woman. She is a great cook and just an all around nice person. She is also incredibly supportive. I adore this lady.

Sandra's Easy Cooking - Sandra's blog is so good, you just want to spend hours poking around. She is also a super person. You must check her out.

Just One Cookbook  - I adore Nami. Most of you probably already know Nami but if you don't you must go check out this blog. She is the coolest lady. One day I hope to meet her and cook with her.

Deelicious Sweets - Dee is a total doll. I love this lady to bits. She is the person who encouraged me to stop hiding in the shadows and put myself out there. She gave me advice and the courage to step into the light. I am most grateful to her for helping me find my voice and be me, unfiltered and unplugged.

The Pioneer Woman- I think you all know who Ree is. This lady is living my dream. On a ranch surrounded by nature, cooking up a storm. She is so amazing and one day if I am ever lucky enough to meet her I'd love to take the horses out for a ride and shoot the breeze.

Dzoli - Oh  man I cannot rave enough. I have come to love this woman, she is so positive and so friendly. I know when I post a new recipe she is one of the first to comment and it's always sweet and always kind. You just have to swing by and say hello. Great cook, great person and just all around great in every way.

Okay that is the list for this week. Each week I will be adding 3 more to it. I don't want to overload you with a zillion at once. I have a few in mind for next week that I have been spending a ton of time at lately. So next week I will relist these 9 and add 3 more to it. Then continue that tradition once a week.

So now on to the list of things I bookmarked this week. I had some problems with my list disappearing so hopefully I found them all. These are recipes I covet and am planning to make at some point. Hope you like them and try them out too. I bookmark a ton of stuff but for time reasons and not wanting to overdo this I have decided to pick a set number to share each week. I was floored and stunned this evening to discover that The Shiksa in the Kitchen had put me on her list. Tori does a weekly review and does picks of things she likes on the web. My Marble Pistachio Bark made that list and I honestly got teary eyed. I am new to the blog world so to have Tori like something I did just makes me grin from ear to ear. I don`t get emotional much, I am very stoic for a chick. Yet to see your recipe picked by someone like The Shiksa is such a honour. I do not take these things lightly and am incredible humbled by it. You can check it out HERE! Tori I am forever grateful, this made my year! I adore you! xx

Okay my lovelies. I am off to do my Farm Fresh Friday post. So hope you liked this one and am hoping you trust me and go check out all these blogs. I have decided to start doing this on my other blog and list links for healthy recipes and fitness blogs. I will be doing that one next week, I have not been keeping up over there as I should. Two more weeks of summer and everyone being home and then back to reality and hopefully I can get some stuff done.

Enjoy your weekend. Check back soon for produce, produce and more produce.

Toodles and smoochies. xx
