Hi folks. Another week flew by. I was hoping to get some extra posts up but it seems the blogging gods do not want me to be productive these days. In the past two weeks my time keeps getting stolen by other things. Life right! What are you going to do. I thought after "Miss Steals Other People's Photos" went away I'd be back to business as usual. Since then we have had to battle the weevilgeddon and a flooded basement. I swear aren't bugs and flooding sign of the apocalypse? Seriously? I need to brush up on my apocalypse trivia but I am sure I saw that on some really important news program. It was called "Supernatural". What, that's news. That's a reliable source. Seriously! If I'm not mistaken there are 7 signs, but I have no idea what they are. Is catching a weird flu bug a sign? We headed up to the market yesterday and on the trip I started feeling really sick and feverish. By the time we got to the city there was no way I wanted to be anywhere near food. So we made a quick bypass into the mall for a coat for mini-me and a couple of Xmas gifts. I mean I did not want to drive all the way to the city for nothing. So I went in to the mall feeling nauseous and red as a tomato from the fever. Like I ever do anything normal. Seriously people, you should know me by now. So another sure sign of the apocalypse. I mean I am positive hurling at the mall must make that list. Ah,enough about the perils of the apocalypse, *even thought I am sure it's coming* I am moving on.
So not a busy week blog wise for me. I apologize for not commenting as much as usual on other blogs. Just too much going on with the apocalypse and all. So I sincerely apologize and shall visit you guys ad nauseum this week. Barring no more apocalypty signs of course. I also apologize to my readers who don't blog but love to cook. I shall be giving you tons of recipes over the next month. Yup, I shall surely make it up to you. In a big bad non-apocalysey way.
So here's the announcement. I sure hope you all didn't think it was something huge. I have not been offered a spot on The Food Network (cries) or A Huge Sponsorship (cries harder) or a Cookbook Deal (spastic sobbing) nor did the lovely Pioneer Woman Discover Me (hysterical crying). It's nothing like that. It's also not a giveaway although an announcement about one of those might be in the near future. It's a simple announcement really. And OMG NO I AM NOT PREGNANT, bite your tongues people. I love munchkins but mine are 17 and 23 so that yellow brick road has already been travelled. Okay where was I? Geez I sure can get sidetracked easily these days. Okay, right, an announcement. Okay here it is. CHRISTMASPALOOZA BEGINS TOMORROW! What does this mean? Well it means lots and lots of Christmas posts for you. I have tons of things I want to share with you. Now logistically it means the days where I already do a themed post, like say Slow Cooker Saturday, you'll get a bonus CHRISTMASPALOOZA post that day. Lunatic Loves days will also include a bonus post. Meatless Mondays will have an extra post for CHRISTMASPALOOZA as well. So you can look forward to at least 14 CHRISTMASPALOOZA posts before Christmas. If the apocalypse doesn't come then it could be 21 CHRISTMASPALOOZA posts. So cross your fingers for an apocalypse free CHRISTMASPALOOZA.
Lunatic Loves will move to Wednesdays starting this coming week. I am now having people do guest posts on Thursdays so I've had to move it up a day. I am looking forward to having a day off each week and sharing some friends with you. Most people tend to do them on Fridays but for me I do my Jar series Fridays then in summer it becomes Farm Fresh. So Thursdays work better for me. Plus it tends to be my busiest day of the week so it's nice to have someone else man the ship for a day. If you are interested in being a guest just shoot me an email.
Lunatic Loves is also getting a slight change. I've moved my regular reading list to it's own tab. I deleted what was there as some I was not reading any more. I've also taken some time to track back through and add the new to me blogs in the list. This week I am adding 6 as I missed a week previously. From now on there will be 3 as per usual added to the list. I just find this easier than trying to do it all in one fell swoop. I just don't have a whole day to devote to adding them all at once. So each week I shall add 3 plus the new to me blog. I love to share the love so this series will always be here.
Now on to the lovefest before the apocalypse hits.

Wow! Thank you so much for adding me to your list.:) Thrilled to bits. :) Sorry to hear you guys are sick. We've been sick off and one for over a month now in my family. I'm so tired of "cold and flu" season and winter hasn't even officially started.
ReplyDelete@Curry and Comfort- You are so welcome. I love your blog. Seems to be just me. Hubs had it last week. My friend had it this week. So it's moving slowly. Luckily mine seemed to be a quick bug. Kids have not gotten it....yet. Lol!
ReplyDeleteI hope you all feel better soon and kids dont get it...
ReplyDeleteIt is the bad crazy weather, everyone seems to be getting it... Feel better soon my dear...
I really loved reading this post... God Kim trust me life is making me go crazy with million things to do and 24 hours in each day...LOL
Loved your links too.
I hope you all feel better soon! Great list.
ReplyDeleteOk, you had best be wrong about the apocalypse, my dear bloggie twin. Cause I just spent a sh**load of cash at the grocery store for Christmas cooking supplies and I'm gonna be irked if it was in vain. I mean, heck, if the apocalypse is coming I could have bought Godiva and just called it good.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, love the links! I'm afraid to go check your blog list cause if I lost my spot, I will most definitely be sad.
*hugs and all that jazz*
Aw, thanks so much for adding me to your list and bookmarking the breakfast quinoa!! I hope you and your family get to feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteKim! I am exhausted just reading about your week! It's a really hectic time of year and I am falling behind miserably too! Thanks for the bookmark! But you make sure you get some rest and feel better! (That slow cooker pizza sauce looks awesome!!!!!)
ReplyDeleteWow - you had some kind of week! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well and you had flooding.....thinking of you, sweetie!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon, but at least it's not morning sickness :) Great links, as always!
