Well you may not but your arteries will.
This lovely treat can be seen over at Cooking Healthy For Me. When Ann asked me to guest post for her I was so

ReplyDeleteThanks.xx
DeleteWhat a gorgeous dish! Those hearts are so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI love the heart shaped fruit. I am thinking it took a long time and a lot of patience. I am thinking that mine would be chunked and thrown at the hungry hoards. You are my fruit chopping hero!
ReplyDeleteIt did but it was worth it. I would not do it every day though. Most days I just toss stuff at mine too. *is now playing the song from Footloose in my head repeatedly*
DeleteNo wonder you had a blast with this one, Kim. Loving the hearts, darling!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jill. This was tons of fun.
DeleteLook at all those pretty heart cut-outs.....awwwww. Heading there now.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It was a riot to do.
DeleteFunny Kim that you should mention living in the middle of nowhere and lemongrass. I juat posted lemongrass soup after having ventured a number of mile to seek out curry leaves. Didn't find those but found the lemongrass. Love this fruit salad and your hilarious commentary.
ReplyDeleteAh man you lucky duck. I could not find them at all. I bet next time I go in search of something else I find them. Thanks so much.
DeleteAwwwww, look at the little hearts! So adorable! :) Love the pink vanilla syrup, too, what a great dish. Awesome guest post!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kiri.
DeleteKim Bee, that is such a beautiful plate!! Looks delicious!!

DeleteKim, you're a riot, as always. This post is lovely. Thanks for keeping me so thoroughly entertained at work every day!
ReplyDeleteI aim to please. Or annoy. Whatever works.
DeleteLook at that fruit, that's fabulous! And the yogurt dip has such a lovely color to it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, this was a nice treat. I love melon.
DeleteI love you two, and love this healthy fruit salad and pink yogurt... lots of love in this post!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovefest. With hearts as an added bonus.
DeleteKim.. you really crack me up!! This looks perfectly healthy and I know Ann would be thrilled for this guest post. Well done. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ramona. It sure was fun to do. I adore Ann.
DeleteNice guest post, Kim and who could resist heart shaped fruit! Now you've got me thinking that this would be a romantic healthy breakfast on Valentine's Day and I could still do the chocolate dessert I have planned for that night. Of course, if I don't like my gift from Brian than he'll be getting leftover fruit for dinner, too! I especially loved the line about all the lovebirds making you want to hurl...hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteThere ya go, way to plan ahead. Thanks, these things just pop in my head and spill on the screen. I should learn to edit more. Lol!
DeleteYou're so funny!! Lol - - I love this sort of balance to be honest. This is such a great recipe - - I love the melon hearts ... cute :) and I am SO addicted to Greek yogurt!!
ReplyDeleteGreek yogurt is the bomb diggity. Love it. This was just fun to do. A bit tedious cutting them out but I had a blast.
DeleteThis looks so girly and pink - especially with those adorable hearts! I can think of a lot of little girls who would be thrilled to eat this.. And healthy too! Great post :) I'm off to eat my weight in pudding now... Later!
ReplyDeleteI would think my nieces would be all over this one. Just so pretty. It's okay, I ate my weight in cherry hershey kisses the other day so I can relate.
DeleteThis is so cute! Love the hearts. Perfect for V-Day!
ReplyDeleteI know right. It has the cute factor for sure.
