Lunatic Loves These Links - September 5

Hey folks. Hope you are enjoying your long weekend. Gotta love holidays. I have to admit to missing the good old days when a holiday meant everyone was home. Everyone was off work and the stores were closed. Am I showing my age here? Seriously though, what good is a holiday when 3 of the 4 family members are working? Yes they get holiday pay so that's great. Yet I wish everyone just had the day off. Hubs worked days. B worked mid-day. Mini-me is working the dinner shift. So no one is even home at the same time. So not the holiday I was picturing. Once upon a time when it was a holiday stores and businesses were closed. Times they are a changing. And not in a good way if you ask me.

Me and mini-me hit a movie while the guys were at work. We went to see Columbiana. It was okay, a bit weird but not a bad movie. At one point I started to wonder if the whole movie was geared around how many shots of Zoe Saldana bra less they could get. Was that the storyline? Seriously these movie directors need to stop being creepy perverts and pay more attention to the story than how see through the actress's tank top is. I am all for a sexy movie but seriously, it only works if the story is quality. This was mid quality, not quite as good as it could have been. But hey, if you're looking to count how many times you see Zoe's breasts then this is your movie.

So I got up and was horrified how cool it was today. Seriously, I realize summer is over but can't we ease into it a bit. Not wham, bam, thank you ma'am. I had to put a sweater on *gasps in horror*, and was not at all happy about it. I shut off the air and opened the windows. Then I started to shiver and had to shut the windows. That is just wrong. I want my warm weather back. Honestly if it's not warm by tomorrow I am abandoning ship and running away to Hawaii. Get my grass skirt ready, I'm booking a flight. I was not meant to live in the cold. Something went horribly wrong. I am suppose to be on a beach holding a drink with an umbrella being served by a hot pool boy. And I am suppose to look smoking in a bikini, where did this all go wrong?

Okay, okay I shall get to the point of the post. I know I tend to ramble but seriously, there's no need to get your panties in a bunch folks. I am getting there. The point is coming.

This week was productive, just not blog productive. I am very behind on my posting. I am also very behind on my commenting. So I've only posted a couple of things this week due to my overactive lifestyle. Here's the dealio.

WENT TO THE FARMER'S MARKET IN LONDON, ONTARIO

WENT TO THE MALL AND VISITED A CHOCOLATE STORE IN LONDON, ONTARIO

WENT TO SEPHORA AND SCORED SOME STUFF HUBS IS UNAWARE I SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON, ME THINKS I BETTER MAKE HIS FAVE DISH TO DISTRACT HIM

So every week I give you my fave blogs, the ones I read without fail. Although this past week I think I missed some posts by these lovely bloggers. Hopefully they'll forgive me, I've been crazy busy. So you should read these blogs as well. They are the ones that amuse, educate, delight and challenge me. They all offer something a little different. Make sure you check them out. Spend some time, look around, leave some comments, make their food. You will not be disappointed.
